美人權組織：北京強迫新疆維吾爾人政治教化

人權組織「人權觀察」今天指出，中國在新疆維吾爾自治區進行大規模打壓，任意拘留以穆斯林為主的突厥裔少數民族維吾爾人，限制其日常宗教活動並「強迫他們接受政治教化」。

路透社報導，聯合國的人權小組8月指出，據信中國將多達100萬名維吾爾人關在新疆一種「秘密拘留營」，接受政治教育。

人權觀察（Human Rights Watch）訪問5名待過拘留營的人後撰寫報告指出，關在拘留營的維吾爾人和其他穆斯林不許使用伊斯蘭的問候方式，必須學習普通話和唱愛國歌曲。

人權觀察指出，新疆居民若有親戚住在包括哈薩克、土耳其和印尼等26個「敏感國家」，就會被當局鎖定，且常未經任何正式程序即被拘留數月。

根據報告，在拘留營中若拒絕服從指示，可能面臨的懲處包括沒飯可吃、被迫罰站24個小時或甚至遭到單獨監禁。

人權觀察駐香港研究員王松蓮（Maya Wang）說，根據針對58名如今定居海外的前新疆居民所做的訪問，即使身在拘留營外，新疆的安全監控也明顯加劇，與「拘留營內高度相似」。

受訪者描述的新安全措施，包括檢查哨擴增，且使用臉部辨識技術和精密警察監控系統，例如每戶民宅都設有二維條碼（QR code），只要掃描，當局即可知道裡面核准住戶的身分。

不過獨立新聞網站gray zone表示，他們寫信詢問聯合國人權事務高級專員公署（OHCHR），確認8月時指中國拘留多達100萬名維吾爾人的「消除種族歧視委員會」（CERD）僅屬「獨立專家組成的」機構，並非聯合國官方本身，也不能代表整個聯合國，西方媒體動輒稱這是聯合國做出的指控，是移花接木。

此外，gray zone指「人權觀察」長期以來被批評為「美國政府的旋轉門」，許多成員曾任職於美國政府或與華府關係良好，其標準經常與美國政府的利益保持一致。
